Al Rajhi Holding, TAV ink deal with KSA to operate airports

Riyadh – Mubasher: Turkish TAV Airports Holding signed an agreement with the Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to operate three airports in Hail, Qassim, and Yanbu, with the cooperation of Al Rajhi Holding Group.

The deal will last for 30 years as of 8 June, TAV added to the Borsa İstanbul.

The capacity of the airports will rise to 11.5 million passengers per year from 3.6 million in 2016, after injecting a planned investment worth $400 million.

In May, Turkish TAV Airports Holding had held talks with banks to get $250 million to develop three airports in Saudi Arabia, according to Reuters.
