Al Safwa Mubasher tops Dubai brokerages in value, volume in March

Dubai – Mubasher: Al Safwa Mubasher Financial Services, previously Mubasher Financial Services, has topped brokerage companies on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) in March with AED 1.34 billion or 12.04% of the market’s total turnover of AED 11.12 billion.

In terms of volume, Al Safwa Mubasher also took the lead with 690.05 million shares traded, representing 9.7% of the DFM’s total volume for the month at 7.12 billion exchanged shares, data published on the DFM showed.

 

Al Safwa Mubasher’s targets

Al Safwa Mubasher is looking to increase its market share to over 10% on the DFM, the company’s CEO Ehab Rashad commented.

He added that his company was also planning to draw up a plan to develop its e-trading services.

Al Safwa Mubasher is looking to enable its customers to trade regionally and globally, Rashad told Mubasher, indicating that the Egyptian, Saudi, and US markets topped Al Safwa Mubasher’s priorities.

In addition, we are planning to raise the bar when it comes to research notes and reports by developing them to meet investors’ needs, Rashad revealed.

 

EFG Hermes ranks second

Coming in second in terms of traded value was EFG Hermes with AED 1.24 billion, accounting for 11.16% of the DFM’s total turnover, while its traded volume of 385.4 million represented 5.41% of the bourse’s total.

Arqaam Securities came in third with AED 1.22 billion or 11.02% of total turnover and 508.10 million shares traded or 7.14% of DFM’s volume, data released by the DFM showed.

Al Ramz Capital came in fourth with AED 786.03 million, 7.07% of turnover and 574.60 million traded shares, accounting for 8.07% of the total.

In fifth place was First Abu Dhabi Securities, a subsidiary of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), with AED 655.18 million in turnover and 361.91 million in volume, or 5.89% and 5.08%, respectively.
