Mubasher: Al Salam Bank – Bahrain announced it has purchased 380,000 treasury shares on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and Bahrain Bourse (BHB) on 23 September 2019.
Accordingly, the bank’s total holding of treasury shares increased to 50.195 million from 49.815 million, representing 2.265% of issued share capital, according to a bourse filing.
It is worth noting that Al Salam Bank had bought 417,390 treasury shares on the DFM and BHB on 22 September 2019, raising its total holding of treasury shares to 49.815 million from 49.397 million.
