Cairo – Mubasher: Loans provided to women by Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation rose by 18.85% year-on-year during the first half of 2019.
From January to June, Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation injected funding worth EGP 567.18 million, compared to EGP 477.21 million in the year-ago period, the foundation’s chairman Reham Farouk told Mubasher.
The foundation’s portfolio exceeded EGP 522.29 million at the end of June, she added.
Since its operation in January 2000, Al Tadamun Microfinance Foundation has poured funding valued at EGP 3.3 billion to more than 1.4 million women.
