Mubasher: Al Themar International Holding suffered an increase of 1,753.5% losses in the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Losses widened to KWD 5.46 million ($18.05 million) in Q1-17 from about KWD 294,830 ($974,440) in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.
The higher losses in Q1 resulted from lower fair value of investments available for sale.
Operating losses surged by 1,631.1% to KWD 5.5 million in Q1-17 from about KWD 317,800 in Q1-16, the statement added.
