Mubasher: Aviation Lease and Finance (Alafco) recorded an increase of 49% in profits during the third quarter ended 30 June 2017, compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
Alafco’s earnings grew to KWD 5.78 million ($19.05 million) in Q3-17 from KWD 3.88 million ($12.79 million) in Q3-16, according to a bourse filing issued on Sunday.
During the nine-month period ended 30 June 2017, Alafco reported a surge of 66.7% in profits to KWD 16.57 million from KWD 9.94 million in the same period a year ago.
At the stock level, Alafco closed Sunday’s session 7.8% higher at 360 fils.
