Mubasher: Aviation Lease and Finance (Alafco) was awarded an auction conducted by the Chilean Sky Airline to rent seven airplanes of Airbus A320 neo for 12 years.
The total value of this aircraft stood at $774.2 million ($234.4 million), according to a bourse statement on Monday.
Alafco clarified that the airplanes will be delivered in two installments, as six aircraft will be received in 2019 while the remaining one will be in 2020.
At the stock level, Alafco closed Monday’s session 0.86% higher at 353 fils.
