Alba, NBB drag Bahraini stock market into red zone

Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse posted its second consecutive decline after falling by 0.25% or three points to close at 1,210 points on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bahrain Islamic Bank levelled up 0.16% or 1.33 points to 818.2 points.

Today’s turnover stood at about BHD 250,400 after nearly 761,200 shares were exchanged.

The industrial sector topped the decliners as it went down 0.52%, after Alba lost 0.54%.

Also, the banks sector inched down 0.45% as NBB retreated 2.86%, however, Ithmaar Bank gained 3.45%.
