Mubasher: Aluminum Bahrain’s (Alba) profits declined in the second quarter of fiscal 2016 by 45% year-on-year, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.
Net profit reached BHD 16.3 million ($43 million) in Q2-16, compared to BHD 29.8 million ($78.5 million) in Q2-15.
In the first half of fiscal 2016, earnings reached BHD 20.5 million, 69% down from BHD 67 million in the same period of 2015.
Alba earlier posted a year-on-year fall of 88.6% in its profits for Q1-15.
