Aldar, Dana drag ADX into red at open

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined in Thursday’s early trade, weighed by Aldar Properties and Dana Gas.

The general index fell 0.44% to reach 4,002.59 points by 10:30am UAE time.

The market saw trading of 16.12 million shares through 184 transactions, with turnover of AED 14.63 million.  

The energy sector led decliners after losing 4.6% as Dana Gas decreased 2.04%.

Similarly, the real estate sector retreated due to a decline in Aldar Properties by 1.88%.

The banks sector slid 0.6% after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank levelled down 1.16%.

Aldar was the value leader after generating AED 4.6 million, while Dana was the most active company after trading 8.38 million shares.
