Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) deepened its early losses by Sunday’s mid-session, hurt by telecom, real estate and bank stocks, mainly Aldar and Etisalat.
By 12:10pm UAE time, the main index fell by 0.2% or 8.36 points to reach 4,251.70 points.
A total of 43.67 million shares were exchanged in 895 transactions at turnover reaching AED 85 million.
The telecom sector fell by 0.62% hurt by Etisalat, while the real estate sector lost 0.24% after Aldar shed 0.43%. The banks sector sagged 0.14% weighed by UNB that was off 9.63%.
Marine Dredging stock was the biggest loser after it slumped by 10%.
On the positive front, energy sector topped advancers, with 4.44% growth, backed by Dana Gas (+4.88%) and Taqa (+2.63%).
