Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bullish performance on Tuesday, backed by the rise of Aldar Properties and Etisalat.
The general index went up 0.14% or 6.43 points to reach 4,584.65 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 171.28 million on Tuesday, compared to AED 368.36 million on Monday. Trading volume reached 52.02 million shares, compared to 71.53 million shares.
The real estate sector rose 1.33% as Aldar Properties gained 1.83%. The investment sector added 1% due to an increase in Waha Capital by 1.12%.
The telecom sector grew 1% after Etisalat went up 1%.
On the other hand, the banks sector fell 0.1% as Union National Bank (UNB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) declined 1.38% and 0.44%, respectively.
