Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties has decided to close all its all malls for a two-week period starting Tuesday, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
However, the company's supermarkets, hypermarkets, and pharmacies will remain open, while operations in F&B outlets will focus only on home deliveries during that period, according to a press release on Tuesday.
The company's decision came in line with the directives of the UAE Government to close all commercial centres for two weeks to control the spread of COVID-19.
It is noteworthy to mention that on Monday, 23 March, the UAE Ministry of Health has announced 45 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of cases in the UAE to 198.
