Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties on Monday said it achieved a net profit of AED 653.95 million ($178 million) in the first quarter of 2016, a rise of 14.6% from AED 570.7 million ($155.3 million) in the same period last year.
Revenues in the first three months of the year increased 4.2% to AED 1.23 billion, compared to AED 1.18 billion in the year-ago period, according the company’s filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
Other revenues were up 71.5% in Q1-16 to AED 253.11 million.
Aldar's stock retreated 0.75% on the ADX in Tuesday's early trades to AED 2.64 after 347,200 shares were traded at a turnover of AED 921,500.
