Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed losses at open on Thursday, weighed down by Aldar Properties.
The general index slid 0.18% or 7.9 points to reach 4,489.95 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The real estate sector led losers after falling 0.3% due to a decrease in Aldar by 0.36%.
The banks sector went down 0.29% along with the decline Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Union National Bank (UNB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD).
On the other hand, the energy sector was the best performer with a 1.4% rise as Dana Gas grew 1.8%.
Turnover reached AED 8.7 million after trading 10.9 million shares through 98 transactions.
