Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Co approved the planned budget for fiscal year 2021/2022.
The budget targets revenues of EGP 2.55 billion and net profits after taxes of EGP 1.4 billion in the coming fiscal year, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
In addition, the company also aims to establish investment projects with a value of EGP 273.3 million which will be funded from the company’s own resources.
During the first half (H1) of fiscal year 2020/2021, the company reported net profits of EGP 625.24 million, down from EGP 736.06 million in the year-ago period.
Sales fell to EGP 1.09 billion in the July-December period of 2020, compared to EGP 1.25 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
