Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Medical Services - Alexandria New Medical Center reported a slight rise in its net profits during 2019.
Net profits inched up to EGP 24.7 million during the twelve-month period ended 31 December 2019, compared to EGP 24.6 million a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
The company generated EGP 213.69 million in revenue last year, up from EGP 183.6 million in 2018.
In addition, the company’s board recommended a cash dividend distribution of EGP 8.433 million for 2019’s earnings at 8% of the share’s nominal value as bonus shares.
It is noteworthy that during the first nine months of 2019, the company logged a net profit of EGP 20.82 million, compared to EGP 19.32 million in the prior-year period.
