Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Alexandria Medical Services - Alexandria New Medical Center approved a decision to increase the company’s issued capital to EGP 114.19 million from EGP 105.41 million through a bonus issue.
The company’s capital will be raised by EGP 8.78 million through the issuance of a bonus share for every 12 shares held to be financed from the shareholders’ share in 2019’s earnings, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
The board recommended distributing EGP 8.433 million to shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2019 at 8% of the share’s nominal value as bonus shares.
It is worth mentioning that for the full-year 2019, the company’s net profits edged up to EGP 24.7 million from EGP 24.6 million a year earlier.
