Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries said Sunday profits increased by 18.5% year-on-year in the first half of FY15/16.
The company’s H1 net profit after tax leapt to EGP34.1 million ($4.4 million), from EGP28.8 million ($3.7 million) in the same period a year earlier.
H1 sales also jumped to EGP224.5 million, compared to EGP207.1 million.
During the quarter ended 30 September, the drug producer profited EGP16.14 million, 21.3% up.
