Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries achieved an increase of 17.9% in net profits during the first six months of fiscal year 2019/2020 when compared to the corresponding period a year earlier.
The company registered EGP 85.26 million net profit in July-December 2019 period from EGP 72.26 million in the same half in 2018, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
Revenues also increased to total EGP 531.4 million in H1-19/20 from EGP 457.07 million in H1-18/19.
It is worth noting that during the first quarter of FY19/20, Alexandria Pharmaceuticals posted EGP 37.87 million profits, higher than EGP 30.83 million in the same period a year ago.
