Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian firm Algebra Ventures plans to boost investments in the Egyptian market to $15 million by the end of 2018, managing partner Ziad Mokhtar told Almal News.
The firm also plans to acquire some companies of 16 firms it previously studied their situation, Mokhtar added, pointing out that the firm will be in talks with a number of companies to fund it over the current period.
The company is in advanced talks with some international entities to participate in raising fund to $50 million from $40 million in six months, he highlighted.
Mokhtar stressed that Algebra’s fund will carry on pumping investments into the local market until 2020 to manage these investments afterward.
