Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Algeria seeks to double the UAE investments to around AED 73.46 million ($20 billion) on the medium term, Algerian Minister of Industry and Mines Abdesselam Bouchouareb said.
The UAE investments in Algeria reached AED 36.73 billion ($10 billion) by the end of 2015, most of which are focused on the tourism and industrial fields.
There are negotiations held by Emirati investors and projects under study, which will help in raising the UAE investments in the coming period, Bouchouareb added.
