Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Alkhabeer Capital on Sunday announced that Alkhabeer’s Education Private Equity Fund II and Alkhabeer Education Private Equity III have acquired 100% of Azezeyah private school in Khobar region and Capital School in Dubai.
These transactions, whose value was not disclosed, are part of the firm’s plans to expand its educational portfolio in the kingdom and the whole GCC, the prominent asset manager said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to announce these acquisitions in leading educational institutions, which represents the latest example of our continual effort to invest in promising, dynamic companies and industries,” CEO Ahmed Saud Ghouth stated.
Expanding the company’s educational portfolio is forecast to contribute to developing the sector, Ghouth added.
AlKhabeer also dominated a 90% stake in the Riyadh-based Tanmiyah Company.
