Riyadh – Mubasher: Alkhashal power plant will start operating in the Jizan region in Saudi Arabia next September, while a transmission power plant will be launched at the beginning of 2018, the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) said.
The technical and emergency teams are working to overcome any sudden electricity interruptions, the SEC added.
The National Grid SA Co, a subsidiary of SEC, in July announced the establishment of the power transmission station (132/13.8 KV) in Al Zulfi city, at a total cost exceeding SAR 100 million.
