Cairo – Mubasher: Allianz Insurance Company – Egypt on Sunday signed a three-year cooperation protocol with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to provide EGP 6.5 million for supporting children’s education.
Under the deal, the firm will donate with a part of the premiums of each life or car insurance policy, chairman Antoine Issa said.
Allianz Insurance also plans to offer support for the education and health sectors, in addition to helping people with special needs, Mohamed Mahran, the company’s managing director stated.
Allianz is a German insurance company and has branches spreading across more than 70 countries.
