Kuwait – Mubasher: Almal Investment suffered losses worth KWD 8.43 million ($27.97 million) during the second quarter of 2016 against profits worth KWD 10.28 million ($34.1 million) in the same period of 2015.
During the first six months this year, the company suffered losses standing at KWD 13.77 million versus profits worth KWD 10.42 million in the same period a year ago, according to a bourse statement.
The losses registered in both Q2 and H1 were due to losses from unachieved investments at the fair value by about KWD 347,500, the statement noted.
