Riyadh- Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's Almarai said on Thursday that it began the opening and commercial operation of its new Central Production Plant (CPP3) manufacturing facilities in Al Kharj with investments of SAR 1.2 billion.
The CPP successfully passed all reliability test and the quality assurance standards.
The plant manufacturing facilities comprises seven dairy product lines, Almarai said in a bourse filing.
The new central production plant will boost the dairy production capacity in an effort to cover the demands of the domestic and regional markets, the company added
The Gulf's largest dairy company said that the new plant was financed through its operational cash flows jointly with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund.
By the end of Thursday’s trades, Almarai’s stock rose 0.38% to SAR 52.41.
