Almosafer unveils achievements in Kuwaiti market

Mubasher: the Middle East’s online travel brand, Almosafer, has unveiled its achievements during its presence in Kuwait since 2018, crowned by the increase of the company’s market share in the GCC country.

The company also stated that it achieved success in terms of sales, user base, and the share of returning customers, according to a statement released on Tuesday

“We are seeing that the average spend per booking in Kuwait is the highest in the region as Kuwaiti travellers continue to explore new destinations around the world, and as such it’s a very important market for Almosafer,” Almosafer’s executive vice president, Muzzammil Ahussain, said.

Since the beginning of the year, Almosafer’s sales skyrocketed by more than 500%, as the brand firming its foothold in the Kuwaiti market, while the total number of users increased by over 25% month-on-month in the same period.

“In fact, we are looking into expanding our retail footprint in Kuwait by 2020 with the planned introduction of an omnichannel booking experience, currently being rolled out in KSA,” Ahussain remarked.
