Riyadh - Mubasher: Amana Cooperative Insurance reported on Wednesday a net profit of SAR 17.255 million ($4.6 million) in December 2016, according to the company’s statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
This raises profits in 12 months to SAR 23.24 million ($6.3 million), the statement showed.
Amana also said that the company’s accumulated losses reached SAR 188.72 million by the end of December, representing 58.97% of the total capital which totals SAR 320 million.
Operating profits in December amounted to SAR 18.89 million, and to a total of SAR 21.89 million in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2016.
