Dubai – Mubasher: Amanat Holdings registered a decrease of 11% in profits during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings shrank to AED 12.77 million ($3.47 million) in Q2-17 compared to AED 14.34 million ($3.90 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse filing issued on Thursday.
Amanat Holdings’ revenues shrank by 3% to AED 15.34 million in Q2-17, while the operating expenses soared by 46% to AED 10.22 million from AED 7 million in Q2-16.
During the first half of 2017, profits grew by 12.8% year-on-year to AED 26.86 million, the statement added.
In the first quarter of 2017, Amanat posted a growth of 49% in profits to AED 14.08 million, as compared to the corresponding period in 2016.
