Amanat Holdings reports AED 42.3m net profit in 2017

Dubai – Mubasher: Amanat Holdings on Wednesday posted an AED 42.3 million net profit in 2017, compared to AED 38.4 million a year earlier.

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) listed company’s revenue increased to AED 66.5 million at the end of last December versus AED 64 million in the comparative period in 2016, according to a company statement.

General and administrative expenses tumbled 5%, while Amanat’s net profit soared 47% to AED 2.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2017 against AED 1.7 million in the year-ago period, the company's data showed. 

The UAE-based firm’s board recommended the distribution of AED 37.5 million in cash dividends for 2017, with a dividend per share of AED 0.015, which makes up 1.5% of the company’s capital.
