Dubai – Mubasher: Amanat Holdings said its shareholders will discuss on 25 April the board’s recommendation of 1.5% dividend payout or 1.5 fils per share for fiscal year 2016, according to a statement.
Total proposed dividends amount to AED 37.5 million.
The company’s capital stands at AED 2.5 billion, distributed on 2.5 billion shares at AED 1 per share.
The appointment of Kassem Alom as an independent non-executive director will be considered.
The shareholders will discuss the launch of the Employee Share Option Plan, under which the company will issue up to 250 million shares, equivalent to 10% of the company’s capital. The five-year plan can be extended to seven years.
The shareholders meeting will be postponed to 30 April 2017 in case of incomplete quorum.
