Mubasher: Amazon.com, Inc. reported a slight rise in third-quarter profits, beating analysts’ expectations.
The American electronic commerce company achieved profits of $256 million in the three-month period ended September, versus $25 million in the prior-year period.
Net sales increased 34% to $43.7 billion in Q3-17, compared to 32.71 billion in Q3-16.
Analysts were forecasting net sales record $42.14 billion in Q3-17.
