Mubasher: Amazon, the biggest retailing company in the Unites States, has launched its services in Australia on Tuesday, as reported by CNN.
The online retail giant is looking forward to seize market share in one of the world's biggest economies.
It was widely expected the company would launch its services in Australia before Black Friday and Cyber Monday, however, as the holiday season approaches, the largest internet company by revenue in the world may still have a very positive start.
Amazon has pledged to invest hundreds of millions of dollars and create thousands of jobs in Australia.
Australia has a fast growing e-commerce market, increasing by more than 13% per year, and and is expected to total more than $20 billion by the end of 2018, according to IBISWorld.
