Mubasher: Amazon announced that it plans to build a new headquarters in North America with $5 billion investments, according to a statement.
Amazon stated on Thursday, 7 September, that it plans to build a second headquarters in North America, which will house as many as 50,000 employees.
The development will cost $5 billion over the next 15 to 17 years, which will creates tens of thousands of jobs and generates billions worth of investments, according to Amazon.
Amazon’s profits went down 77% in the second quarter of 2017 to $197 million.
