Cairo – Mubasher: Americana Egypt posted that its Q1 profits leapt 40% year-over-year to EGP63.53 million ($7.15 million) from EGP45.38 million ($5.11 million) according to the consolidated financial statements.
Its standalone profits also surged to EGP81.49 million in Q1-16, which is 41.5% higher from EGP57.58 million for the year-ago period.
By the end of 2015, the company earned a net of EGP187.8 million compared to EGP207.8 million in 2014.
