Kuwait-Mubasher: The stock of Kuwait Food – Americana rose by 4.17% or 100 fils to reach KWD 2.5 an hour before closing Wednesday’s session; the highest level in two months and the third successive increase over the trading sessions.
Americana’s stock recorded the highest liquidity which stood at KWD 3.1 million to account for 42.3% of the overall trading value which reached KWD 7.33 million.
The stock acquired 90% of the consumer goods sector which generated liquidity worth KWD 3.43 million.
An hour before the session ends, Americana stock saw purchase orders of 279,000 shares versus about 62,400 shares as sale orders.
