Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Amiantit said the lawsuit filed against its Iraqi subsidiary was adjourned until 6 March, according to the company’s statement to the Saudi bourse.
The company will request the appointment of nine exports from the Iraqi Engineers Union to evaluate the business of subcontractor.
In 2015, experts estimated the value of business carried out by the subcontractor at IQD 4.99 billion (nearly SAR 27 million), the statement added.
Amiantit and lawyers believe the relevant financial impact will not exceed the SAR 27 million registered by the company as provisions.
