Amlak turns to loss in Q2

Dubai - Mubasher: Amlak Finance recorded a net loss of AED 35.53 million ($9.67 million) in the second quarter of 2016, against a net profit of AED 8.53 million ($2.32 million) in the same quarter last year.

On the other hand, the company recorded a net profit of AED 87.4 million in the first half of 2016, compared to AED 14.6 million for the same period last year.

The H1 positive results are supported by the strong revenue growth in Q1 generated from one-off sale of land plots, according to the company’s statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.
