Mubasher: The main index of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) edged up 0.02% or 0.51 point to the level of 2,115.96 points on Sunday.
Turnover increased to JOD 8.2 million from JOD 7.5 million on Thursday. Trading volume reached 9 million shares through 3,440 transactions.
The financial sector increased 0.31%, while the industrial and services sectors declined 0.45% and 0.24% respectively.
The index was supported by the rise of 43 shares, out of 125, while 44 others closed in red.
Union Tobacco and Cigarette Industries was the best performing share by adding 7.41%, while Babelon Investments topped losers after dropping 4.4%.
The main gauge dipped on Thursday 0.05% or 1.06 point to the level of 2,115.45 points.
