Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s main index rose 0.27% or 5.77 points to stand at the level of 2,144.24 points on Sunday.
Turnover retreated to JOD 6.9 million from JOD 79.9 million on Thursday. Trading volume decreased to 4.7 million shares from 8.6 million shares in the last session.
The industrial sector increased 2.38%, backed by Al Eqbal Investment Company and Jordan Worsted Mills which added 6.73% and 0.8%, respectively.
The financial sector shed 0.29%, on the back of five stocks led by International Cards Co. which lost 5%.
The services sector went down 0.02%, affected by Jordan National Shipping Lines which levelled down 1.9%, while Jordan Telecom - Orange (JTEL) led the green zone advancing 7.31%.
