Amman bourse down 0.24% on financial, services

Mubasher: Amman Exchange ended Sunday in the red zone as the benchmark fell 5.19 points, or 0.24%, to 2,122.56 points.

Trading value decreased to JOD 5.2 million from JOD 6.9 million on Thursday, while trading volume registered 6 million shares over 2,990 transactions.

Sector-wise, the financial and services also saw a slide of 0.45% and 0.17% respectively. Meanwhile, the industrial sector edged up by 0.31%

Tracking stock movement, the worst decliners were headed by Premier Business and Projects and National Poultry with a fall of 5% each. Meanwhile, the best advancer was Nopar for Trading and Investment by 4.35%.

On Thursday, the main index stood at 2,127.75 points, down 0.01%.
