Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange ended Sunday’s trading session on a stronger note for the second session in a row.

The main index rose by 0.17% to 2107.61 points.

Around 7.7 million shares were traded at JOD 5.8 million in 2,542 transactions.

Sector-wise, the financial sector moved up by 0.25% as the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance and Jordan Islamic Bank rose by 0.97% and 0.28% respectively.

Likewise, the services inched up 0.06% on the stock of Jordan Petroleum Refinery that increased by 0.6%.

On the flip side, the industrial sector inched down by 0.07% after Arab Potash fell by 1.47%. However, Jordan Phosphate Mines erased some of the sector’s losses after rising by 0.4%.
