Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) advanced on Thursday, as the main index rose by as much as 0.16% or 3.51 points to close at 2,150.93 points.
The market was buoyed by the industrial and financial sectors that added 1.2% and 0.03% respectively. Meanwhile, the services sector slid by 0.35%.
Today’s traded volume increased to 17.2 million shares, from 7.3 million shares exchange yesterday. Traded value also rose to JOD 16.4 million from JOD 6.7 million.
Out of the 124 companies traded today, 45 moved lower led by Intermediate Petrochemicals Industries that fell by 4.88%, while 42 others moved higher topped by Al-Ekbal Printing And Packaging that pulled ahead by 7.1%.
