Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) main index fell by as much as 0.67% or 14.42 points to close Wednesday’s session at 2,147.42.
The index was dragged lower by all sectors, mainly industrial (-1.11%), then financial (-0.65%) and services (-0.21%).
Today’s traded volume declined to 7.3 million shares from 8.8 million shares, while traded value fell to JOD 6.7 million from JOD 10.8 million.
Out of 133 companies traded today, 38 moved up led by Al-Ekbal Printing and Packaging (6.96%), while 58 others moved lower led by Jordan Hotels (-7.26%).
