Amman exchange ends Tuesday up 0.02%

Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Tuesday in green, as the benchmark index edged up 0.02% reaching 2,098.41 points after closing in red in two sessions in a row.

The trading value amounted to JOD 5 million, after 6.6 million shares were traded through 2,400 transactions.

Trading was carried out on the shares of 112 companies of which 39 went up, while 32 went down.

As for the sectors performance, the industrial sector slipped 0.02%, thanks to the decrease in Jordan Phosphate Mines Co.’s (JPMC) share by 4.43%. On the other hand, the services sector finished the session up by 0.02%, and the financial sector also gained on the back of Bank of Jordan which added 0.45%.
