Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange’s main index closed Tuesday in green, as it rose 0.02% or 0.41 point, reaching the level of 1,994.13 points.
Trading value dropped today to JOD 4.9 million, versus JOD 6.9 million on Monday. Trading volume also plummeted to 3.6 million shares exchanged in 2,340 trades.
Both the services and industrial sectors rose 0.13% and 0.11%, while the financial sector moved 0.05% down.
The index was supported by a rise in prices of 34 shares, out of 114, while 33 others closed down.
Contempro for Housing Projects and Rumm Financial Brokerage led the gainers with a growth of 5.45% and 4.94% respectively, while Al-rakaez Investment Company topped the losers as it ended 4.88% down, followed by Jordan Clothing Company with a 4.76% decrease.
ASE benchmark index closed yesterday with a fall of 0.34% or 6.48 points to 1,993.72 points.
