Mubasher: Amman Stock Exchange’s benchmark ended Wednesday’s trading on a rise backed by industry and financial sectors.
The general index climbed 0.61% or 12.98 points to 2136.88 points.
Trading value rose to JOD13.6 million, compared with JOD9.9 million yesterday.
A total of 14.8 million shares were traded through 5,140 transactions.
Industry sector increased by 2.11%, followed by financial sector by 0.46%, while services index fell by 0.12%.
Amad Investment headed gainers by 7.49%, while Al Amin for Investment topped decliners by 4.94%.
