Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s main index added 0.85% or 17.05 points on Thursday, reaching the level of 2,016.29 points.
Trading value went up to JOD 5.8 million, versus JOD 4 million yesterday. While trading volume increase to 5.5 million shares exchanged in 3,300 trades.
The market's sectors advanced collectively, as The financial and services sectors leapt 0.37% and 0.53% respectively, while the industrial gained 2.06%.
The index was triggered by the higher prices of 58 shares, out of 121 companies, while 28 others closed down.
Al-amal Financial Investments and Injazzat Real Estate topped the gainers with increases of 6.66% and 5.49% respectively to reach JOD 0.64 and JOD 0.96 respectively.
Jordan Clothing Co. and Arab East Financial Investment led the losers with falls of 5.26% and 5%.
ASE benchmark index rose yesterday by 0.02% or 5.11 point to 1,999.24 points.
