Mubasher: The Amman Stock Exchange’s main index closed Tuesday with a decline of 0.14% or 2.99 points, reaching the level of 2,083.84 points.
Trading value dropped to JOD 7.1 million versus JOD 10 million yesterday, and trading volume fell to 7.3 million shares exchanged in 3,080 trades.
The industrial and services sectors dropped 0.6% and 0.44% respectively, while the financial sector came alone on the green list with a rise of 0.24%.
There were 48 risers during the session in which 123 shares changed hands, while 34 companies closed as losers.
Middle East Specialized Cables and Arabian Steel Pipes Manufacturing topped the losers as it they 6.25% and 4.88%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Resources Company for Development and Investment was the best performer with a growth of 6.67%, followed by South Electronics with a 5.26% rise.
The main index closed yesterday at the level of 2,086.83 points after rising 0.18%.
